BESS.EGV
Roof-mounted deflagration venting as the most economical solution.

The REMBE® explosion vent BESS.EGV offers optimum protection for your Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). BESS.EGV is available in a range of geometries with customisable burst pressures.
Application
BESS.EGV is suitable for use in a wide range of BESS applications where roof installation is preferred. The standard burst pressure is 0.1 bar at 22 °C (71.6°F), but can be modified to suit any BESS design, as low as 0.025 bar.
Advantages
- High venting capacity and full bore opening due to low surface weight.
- High stability and opening speed through integrated bionic structure.
- Adapts perfectly to your BESS due to the wide range of EGV geometries available.
- Quick and easy installation as EGV is torque independent. No additional counter frame required.
- Significant space savings due to the integrated gasket and frame in the explosion vent.
Mechanism
When pressure rises during a deflagration, the vent opens at the defined breaking point and releases pressure from the BESS into the surrounding area.
